Rinse the rice thoroughly. Soak for 30 minutes
Pre-open Pan Cooking Methods
A. Brings 5 cups of water to rolling boil.
B. Add 1 cup of rice and stir gently. Cook uncovered for 6-7 minutes on medium heat.
C. Drain the rice, rinse with more boiling water & serve hot.
Closed Pan Cooking Method
A. Take 2 cups of water for 1 cup of rice, and bring water and rice to oil.
B. Close the lid and cook for 10 minutes.
C. Remove from heat and allow it to stand covered for 5 minutes till the steam settles down &serve hot.
Microwave Cooking Method
A. Place 1 cup of rice and 1/2 cups water in a deep microwave safe utensil.
B. Cook uncovered for 8-10 minutes. Fluff the rice, let it stand for 5 minutes& serve hot.
